What happens if two players finish with the same score?

The first logged score wins. If you and another player finish on exactly the same score, the player whose score was recorded first takes the higher placement.

Ties are rarer than you would expect: everyone in an arena plays the same seeded game, so identical scores mean two runs of near-identical quality — and the tiebreak rewards the one banked first.
